BIO:

I have the traditional Doberman Pinscher energy.

When Italy takes me outside, I will run like a wild child for 5 minutes. After I have burned most of my energy, I will allow Italy to give me kisses and hugs. It’s a routine. :)

I LOVE toys. My favorite toy is the Reindeer jumbo toy. I love running around with it or thrashing it around. I am not a ripper or destuffer. I do not mind sharing my toys.

I live by the golden rule. Treat others like you wish to be treated. I am a gentle baby. I do not jump on people, and I will stand or sit while they pamper me with love. Therefore, I expect people to be gentle with me. I do not like rough pets or kisses. I will walk away from you if you do this.

Car rides are okay. I do not hate them, but I do not love them. I prefer to be at home. Enjoying the acre of land and playing with all my friends.

I am Italy’s, the breeder’s, favorite of the pack. I also LOVE her so much. She says I am a super sweet and special baby.

I will protect my home even if I am terrified. Italy will not let me forget that time when I was young and trying to protect her from a noise in the woods. It was nighttime, and we heard a noise from the woods (part of the property). I got in front of Italy and started barking. Letting the intruder or animal know, I will protect her. However, every bark also included me peeing. I am not sure why we have to share this story. I did my job. I protected her! So what if I peed? Italy did give me a lot of kisses and treats afterwards. Oh, the intruder or animal was Angel, a Siberian Husky. We couldn’t see him since he was hiding around the house. I was annoyed by him. We are friends, but I am still annoyed.

I am a friendly, alert, GENTLE, intelligent, active, agile, joyful, affectionate, lively, loyal, playful, and kind Doberman.

Q: Do the ears stand up right away after ear cropping?

A: Not for the Doberman Pinscher breed. You have to proceed with ear taping. This can take a month to a year. The duration of ear taping depends on the type of ear crop and how consistently you are with the taping. For example, the show crop takes longer for the ears to stand. The taping can be done by you or a veterinarian who does ear cropping. You can learn how to ear tape your Doberman’s ears by looking at YouTube videos. There are different methods to tape your Doberman’s ears.
