This is all the years we have been breeding to the year 2023.

  • The average weight for all the Huskies is 53.96 lbs. This is 3 lbs less than last year’s average!

  • The average weight for the Male Huskies is 59.23 lbs. Which is 2 lbs less than last year’s average!

  • The average weight for the Female Huskies is 47.40 lbs. This stayed the same as last year’s average!

  • The heaviest Siberian Husky is 95 lbs.

  • The lightest Siberian Husky is 33 lbs.

Doberman Pinschers:

  • The average weight for all the Dobermans is 87.29 lbs Which is 1 lb more than last year’s average!

  • The heaviest Doberman Pinscher is 120 lbs.

  • The lightest Doberman Pinscher is 50 lbs.

FAMILIES NOT APPROVED:

  • 401 families were not approved in the year 2023. Which is a 67.78% increase from last year. The average per year to be disapproved is 307 families.

We are strict with our babies. This is to ensure our pups are going to forever and loving homes. It’s our responsibility, to ensure they are.

Unfortunately, we can not state our requirements to obtain one of our babies. Why? Because people have lied and will lie on the application. However, I will mention 1 reason (top 3 reasons) why families were not approved. Breeding. 108 families fall under this category in 2023. Our pups are strictly pet only as mentioned throughout the website. Where no breeding (including purebred, mixed, or accidental) is allowed.

Families can be approved and later not approved. This has happened before. Since details were not adding up. When confronted with these details they started to use vulgar language. If we do not feel comfortable before or during the process we will not allow you to adopt one of our pups. Once again, it’s our responsibility to ensure we are placing them in forever homes.

PUPPIES RETURNED:

  • 26 Siberian Huskies were returned.

  • 2 Doberman Pinchers were returned

Within the past years, we have seen a decrease in “returned dogs”. We were expecting around 10 Huskies and 0 Dobermans this year (based on the numbers of the past years). However, this was not the case. For Siberian Huskies, there was a 92.86% increase. For Dobermans, there was a 200% increase. Returning dogs was not an issue only with us but many shelters and rescues. 2023 was a tough year for all of us. This is why we have a handful of adults waiting for a forever home.

The majority of these families who returned one of our babies were because they were not ready to raise a pup/dog. Unfortunately, raising a puppy is not easy. Especially a Siberian Husky. It requires a lot of time, money, and patience.

The other reasons were the following:

  • The family was moving to an apartment. The apartment complex was not dog-friendly or allowed Siberian Huskies/Doberman Pinschers.
  • Had major life events (for instance health issues) that hindered them from taking care of a pup/dog.

One can easily see the difference in rehoming breeds. Many families who are interested in a Siberian Husky do not know how much exercise, patience, and training they require. They only see the beauty of them. One must be ready and prepared to fulfill Husky’s exercise requirement and have the patience to train,

Now imagine if we, Husky Palace, are not strict with our puppies. How many poor babies will be returned to us?

FAMILIES WHO RETURNED TO OBTAIN ANOTHER PUP/DOG FROM HUSKYPALACE:

  • 39 families decided they wanted another fur-member and proceeded with us again. :)

Conclusion:

I hope you enjoyed the 2023 statistics of Husky Palace.

As always, God bless, and Go Tigers!
