You have reserved a puppy. Now what? This blog post will help you understand what you must do before picking up the new family addition.
Schedule A Pick Up Appointment
Once you have reserved the puppy, you will need to schedule an appointment. You may wait until the available date gets closer or do so right away when you reserve the puppy. However, it’s better if you schedule the appointment right away. Since once the date gets closer, other families have already booked slots. Therefore I might not be available on the day or/and time you want to come.
Pick-up hours:
A handful of families a year want to pick up their puppy at 8 weeks old since they want their puppy to be with their mother longer. Mothers tend to not want to be with their babies starting as soon as 5 weeks old.
We separate the mother from the babies from 6 weeks old to 6 weeks old 5 days old, depending on the mother. Another reason we separate the babies and the mothers is to ensure they are not dependent on the mother when they go to their new homes.
For families picking up their pup from Anderson, SC, please keep me in mind the appointment will be outside. Therefore dress for the weather.
To schedule an appointment you will contact me, Italy, via text or email.

Appointment
We understand that sometimes traffic happens or you take the wrong turn. If the GPS says you will be arriving at a time that is not your appointment, please text me. So I may know if there is a delay. You might arrive when I have another appointment. If the other family is already here, please wait in the car until I am finished with them. I do not want to rush their appointment.
If your GPS says you are arriving earlier, please text me. I might not be available. If this is the case, please be patient and come when it’s your appointment slot. If I am available, I will be more than happy to accept you. :)
We try our best to accommodate everyone. Remember most of the time, I have other appointments.
